Dr. Muktesh Kakasaheb Daund is working in Nashik for the last 8 years, He did his MBBS from Dr. V M Government Medical College Solapur.

He then pursued his further education at LGB Regional Institute of Mental Health, Tezpur, Assam, and an Institute of National Excellence in India for Psychiatry. While in Assam, he also conducted street plays and other activities to create awareness among the masses for de-addiction. Addiction has always been a subject of his curiosity.

Later, he had exposure to De-addiction unit of NIMHANS, Bengaluru, under unit of Dr. Pratima Murthy Mam, well-known in India for her study on addiction and particularly addiction in females, now mam is Director of NIMHANS, Bengaluru. He gained experience working in her unit.

Initially, OPD has been started and now admission facility has been made available at NIMS Hospital. Awareness is being created by him in the field of mental health, through newspaper articles, You Tube channel and social media posts.
